Design styles
The following notes are designed to help you to decide on the type of design you might like - we hope they might provide some ideas - but we know that some of our clients are very clear about the design and style they want - and we are very happy to work with your concepts.
These terms and ideas might be helpful if you are completing our design questionnaire with a view to contacting us for further information or a cost estimate.
Please check out the rest of the notes on our Design page

Victorian - its impossible to briefly summarise Victorian style since they borrowed from so many other styles and periods. If you have a 'Victorian' home and want to match the original style, the best plan is to see if there is any surviving original glass in the neighbourhood. We can of course propose a variety of suitable designs for this era, reflecting the general style - ie quite a complex panel tending to have a large number of small pieces of glass, with darker colours in the earlier period, and probably reflecting Greek or Gothic themes.
